What this website collects

This website is a static information site. It does not run a database, does not ask you to create an account, and does not store any information you type into the appointment form on its own servers. The appointment form works entirely inside your browser: when you choose “Send via WhatsApp” or “Send via email”, the details you entered are passed to that app so you can review and send the message yourself.

Third-party content

By default this site loads nothing from anyone else. Fonts, images and scripts are all served from this domain, so simply reading a page contacts no other company. There are no advertising trackers, remarketing pixels or social-media trackers anywhere on it.

Two features do involve Google, and neither runs until you allow it through the cookie notice: website analytics, and the map on the contact page. Both are described below.

Information you send to the clinic

Anything you send by phone, WhatsApp or email goes directly to Dr. Abhijeet Bhosikar Rheumatology Clinic and is handled as part of your medical record under the hospital’s own confidentiality policy and applicable Indian medical-records regulations. Please avoid sending detailed medical records or scans over WhatsApp; bring them to your consultation instead.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own, and it stores nothing about you on any server. When you first visit, a notice asks whether you accept cookies from Google. Until you answer, nothing is loaded and nothing is measured.

If you accept, two things switch on. Google Analytics records which pages are visited, from roughly which region, and how people move through the site, so the clinic can tell which information patients actually use. It is configured for measurement only — IP addresses are anonymised, advertising storage is refused, and the data is not used for remarketing or ad profiles. The Google map on the contact page also becomes able to load. Google may set its own cookies for both, under its privacy policy.

If you decline, neither loads, and no request is made to Google at all. The map is replaced by a button that loads it only if you press it, and everything else on the site works exactly as before. Nothing is withheld for declining.

Your answer is remembered in your browser’s local storage on that device only. It is never sent to the clinic or to anyone else. Clearing your browsing data clears it, and the notice will ask again.

You can change your mind at any time. Cookie settings, at the foot of every page, forgets your answer, removes the Google Analytics cookies from this site and reloads the page so the notice asks again.

Children

This site is intended for adults seeking medical information. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
